Changing axes of Novint falcon
I'm using Novint falcon. Falcon have 'x' axis as in inward/outward movement, 'y' as in left/right movement and 'z' as up/down movement.Is there any way to change this axes convention?, for ex. If I want to switch between 'x' and 'z' (and to map movement in transverse plane into screen).
I think easy way to approach that is with manipulate the camera, lighting position etc.?
Any suggestion would be deeply appreciated.
If you are using the haptic device class to retrieve the tool position, nothing stops you from swapping the position data in the returned vector. If you apply this approach, then you will also need to correctly swap the force data from your representation to one of the haptic device.
