modeling the falcon

hi
im working in matlab and i want to model the falcon haptic device in simulink ,i choose to model it as a spring-damper. do you think it is the right modeling?

What do you exactly mean by modelling the Novint Falcon?
If you are computing forces to control the device, then using a spring-damper model can be a good approach modelling virtual constraints.
